Giulia

Where is home?
Made in Italy, living in Ireland

Can you remember your first class?
Yes, the company I was working for at the time had a free yoga classes for their employees. I remember going to my first class thinking it would have been easy…I was stiff as a piece of wood. Had to go back over and over again cause I wanted to get better and because I always left classes feeling so much better!

What did you do before teacher training?
I have a master degree in marketing so I spent a good few years covering digital marketing roles in a number of companies in Dublin as well as a freelancer during my extensive travels.

Why did you stick with the practice?
Because I was very bad at it and wanted to improve and yet I felt so energized, regenerated and calm after classes. I was very bad at it but I totally saw the potential of a regular practice; plus yoga was a major help for me to cope with an office job I hated.nfortunately!) but the space in my body and the stillness in my mind during and after class.

What is your favourite thing about teaching yoga?
I love seeing students achieving what once felt like a dream or something impossible. I love seeing people cultivating a personal practice and showing on the mat for themselves, taking time out from their busy schedules. I love breaking things down, facilitating as well as supporting the learning process
Favourite posture and why?
Handstands and all kinds of inversions because..well, if you know you know ☺

Bio
Giulia fell in love with the playfulness of acroyoga and the mindfulness of yoga but also trained in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, Aerial and Yin.
Yoga is for Giulia a true lifestyle, and a way of being that really goes beyond the asana practice.

Her wish is to continue exploring and learning from different disciplines, schools and inspiring humans. All the while, growing as a yoga and acroyoga teacher and movement practitioner.
